Project set up: all required speciments will be ordered after the signature of the contract, if you are in need of a special strain we will provide the specific time frame

Superovulation will be done

After the microinjection the embryos will be placed in a pseudopregnant female.

Birth of the pups

14 days after they will be screened for the Tg gene.

Our questions regarding the pricing

1. What species would you like us to put your construction in? Mice, rats, rabbits? And what is the back ground you would choose? (ex. Balbc?)
2. We advise our clients that we inseminate with 300 embryos (this is the number which gives us the best results), but if you do not agree with it please let us know. Usually we have a 5-10% success rate to have transgenic pups, but it should also depend on the construct you give us.
3. What kind of population do you desire? Homozygote? Heterozygote?
4. We do genetic typing at our lab, but would you like us to ship the samples to a separate validating laboratory or would you like to do it?
5. At the end of the project what should we send you? (animal, milk of the animal, spleen, sperm etc.)
6. Would you like us to maintain the population? If yes for how long and with how many animals?
